By averaging the seasonal ups and downs of your energy usage, Budget Billing helps you budget your monthly expenses and pay the same amount each month.

Your Budget Billing monthly payment is estimated based on your past electric usage, so you must have at least twelve months of usage history with Oakdale Electric Cooperative before you are eligible for this program. Combine Budget Billing service with all of our convenient payment options.

To sign up for Budget Billing, please contact a Consumer Service Specialist via email or phone at 800-241-2468.

Available to members in good credit standing only.

Pre-Pay Meter Billing is a daily prorated billing option that requires the member to pay for their usage before they are consumed.

Daily/interval readings are evaluated to calculate daily charges. Members will need to keep a credit balance and that credit balance will be reduced each day by the amount of the daily charges. Once the credit balance is depleted, the account will be eligible for disconnection.

Member Benefits:

  • No deposit required
  • No paper bills
  • Reduced fees for disconnect
  • Pay large balances off over a longer period of time
  • SmartHub Features specific to Prepaid

Your electric service can be disconnected if your payment isn’t received by the due date. Oakdale Electric Cooperative understands that circumstances sometimes prevent you from paying your bill in full. In the event you cannot make your payment, we’ll work with you to arrange a temporary payment schedule. Please note that payment arrangements are made on an individual basis.

If you can’t make your payment this month, please contact a Consumer Service Specialist via email or phone at 800-241-2468.
